Owners Joel & Shana Tuxhorn have taken a stance for buyers and sellers to become confident in the auction method of marketing in Central Nebraska. Changing markets, trends and technological advances in the auction industry can be hard to follow and understand. However, our service is to make your buying or selling experience as worry-free and comfortable as we can. From the first consultation until the check is written after the auction, we can offer auction setup, advertising and marketing, multiple auction methods, clerking, cashiering and all of the extra duties.

AUCTION TYPES
ONLINE ONLY - Auctions conducted with only online bidders through our website www.yapauction.com. Items on this auction have staggered end times with the highest bidder winning each lot when the item ends.
WEBCAST - Auctions conducted with a live crowd in the building or venue in conjunction with live internet bidders from around the region and the U.S. complete with audio. This allows online and onsite bidders to bid simultaneously on each lot being sold. When the auctioneer sells the item, the highest bidder wins each lot.
ONSITE ONLY - Auctions conducted on location only with no internet bidding offered. When the auctioneer sells the item, the highest bidder wins each lot.

***Effective February 1, 2020 the following is a list of SOME items we will no longer be accepting to sell at our auctions. YAP Auction and it’s staff will determine if your merchandise meets our requirements and what auction your merchandise qualifies for the best.
Items Not Accepted Include (but not limited to): No Leftover Garage Sale Items Broken or Soiled Items Old Baby Cribs Broken, Soiled or Non-Working Furniture or Appliances Floral Pattern Chairs, Sofas Organs, Pianos Metal Desks, Pressed Wood/Particle Board Furniture Console Televisions (any televisions that are not modern flat screens)
This is strictly a business decision that plays heavily into the future of our business serving Central Nebraska with marketing merchandise via the auction method. Therefore, we may not accept some or all of your merchandise. We have been in the auction business for several years and have a good understanding of currents trends (what will sell or won’t sell) and the value of the merchandise.
